I want to talk a little bit to the rising generation
an era filled violence and high degradation
a country filled with hatred and so much seperation
if we all came together we could be a stronger nation
And why cant we see, that as kids and teens
we can make the world how we wan it to be
but all the obscene, that we see on tv
is rottening our minds and ruining our dreams
if you want something bad dont let it pass you by
dont let it run away like the clouds in the sky
cause if you do that you gonna be wonderin why
you let the oppurtunity pass and regret it till you die
why cant we all aspire high to try and make it
because the world is free and its ours for the taking
but we need to stop all this cruelness and hatin
and im just a kid but this is what im sayin
that we as the youth can be anything we want to be
a doctor, an athlete a teacher of astronomy
i know its kinda hard given todays economy
but all you have to do is have a dream, come and follow me

I used to think getting older would be fun
and then i found out how the real world is spun
im not saying im affraid, cuz im definitely not
its just time keeps ticking away just like on a clock
and it feels like every one else is going faster to me
like i go to take a step, and theyve already taken three
and, i dont know what id do without my friends
but sooner or later the begining has to meet the end
cuz when i turn 19 i know that il go away
i know that i really want to, but i really cant stay
cuz ive been called to do something that will affect many lives
and if i stay, it would be the hardest thing to survive
so i know that by going out there and allowing him to be testing me
that when i come back, il be blessed, and il be able to just rest in peace
but at the same time trials will come and go
cause life isnt a cake walk, you gotta take it slow
but if we realize that through trials we get stronger
than we wont have to doubt the power of Him anylonger
and if we stay true and remain to be faith full
then He will take care of us like a baby in a cradle
